crush washer size???

Anyone know the size of the aluminum washer (sealing ring) for the fuel filter bolt and where to get one? AutoZone and Advanced don't have the right size and I'm suspecting that is where my air leak is coming from since there isn't any washer on the bolt in my car. Also, what are the washer sizes for the fuel banjo fittings... might as well replace all of them.
thanks.
ben

If you're referring to the copper washer in the pic, not all cars had them, but one of mine did. I went to the hardware store and picked up a composite washer. ID is 19mm, 1mm thick. OD not an issue, but it's 21mm.

Edit, 18mm x 21mm x 1.5mm.
Not 19mm as mentioned above, sorry.

Thanks, that's the one I was talking about. I can see the mark on the bolt where there used to be one, but it wasn't on the car (or I lost it).

Many auto parts stores carry the copper washers. However, you may need to ask for "brake system washers".

I tried that, to no avail.
ajcbgray, send me your address, I'll mail the one in the pic. Neither of my cars need it.

I just bought a 300d tubo that is missing the aluminum washer on the banjo bolt off the spin on filter housing. Anyone know what size this is so i can run to the parts store for one. It leaks fuel pretty badly there when running.

i bought a kit of washers from advance last week, in the kit there is a 3/4 one that works. its in the "help" parts section. They have other washers in the oil section for the oil pan bolt but none were big enough

Did you guys also replace the "O" ring on the Banjo bolt? Mine also has no washer. When it did leak replacing the "O" ring cured it.

I searched high and low for crush washers for my system. Finally my brain started working and I went to my independent mechanic, and had me out the door with a full set as well as a spare, in about 5 minutes. Wouldn't even let me pay for them.

The fuel filter bolt washer is 18mm. I got mine at Napa after an unsucessful attempt from the dealer. The other fuel banjo bolts are 14mm (I think). The napa part# for the 18mm is 704-1356. Good luck-it worked for me! Scott
