Weather Stripping question
I recently ordered new door seals for the front doors and have had an unreasonable time trying to make it work. I order the seals from ******** Arizona the manufacturer is Meyle, they appear to be the same as the ones offered here as replacements. After installation the drivers door is almost impossible to shut. It seems that the front side of the seal is wedging itself between the body and the door. Is it because its the wrong seal? Or did I somehow not install it properly? this seems impossible but I suppose it is not.

They sound like aftermarket seals, good luck with them. I have had zero luck with aftermarket seals fitting.

Did you adjust the door jamb/lock thing? Got pics?

Jamb/lock thing?

The squarish metal thing that the latch on the door strikes and latches onto. You can loosen the four Allen head screws that hold it on and move it a little bit outboard to help get your door to close. The one on the driver's door of my 240D got a little loosen and migrated inboard causing my door to require slamming to close before it got to the point where it wouldn't close at all. Ten minutes with an Allen wrench fixed it. I think it's a 5.5 or 6 mm.
