W124 Interior Parts

As I am nearing completion of putting this car back to the way it was 20 years ago, I have been searching for some interior parts for my car. The interior door pull (driver's door) has broken and I can't find one anywhere. I have been to the junkyards but feel I would have better luch locating the Holy Grail than this part. I would also like to find some "C" pillar interior panels as the PO broke some of the mounting tabs on mine. Some interior door panels in good shape would also be nice. Does anyone out there know where to find parts like these without going to the dealer and paying more than the car is worth? Aside from these few parts, my car is in excellent cosmetic shape.

I am not talking about the part used to open the door. I am talking about the arm rest/door pull. When you say it isn't "that expensive", you are speaking in relative terms. Just how much are we talking about? I would also like to get my hands on a new door panel with pocket. All I am really wanting is for someone to point me to a place where I might be able to find these parts, short of going to the dealer. Does anyone know of a place?

I checked. The door panels run about $350 each for a 1987 300 series car (W124). Too much for my tastes.

Got one in black leather?

I've got one in palomino/saffron (174), and one in blue. The armrest/pull is not available separately AFAIK, it is heat-staked to the door panel and the clips in it are molded in. The difficult part isn't finding a used one, but finding one that hasn't been damaged.

These are 1987 panels so they are not leather, leather panels were not available in '87.

I also have C-pillar panels, they are Palomino 174, haven't decided whether to part with them though as they have the optional reading lamps, ... I don't think I have a blue set.

I am in need of black interior parts. What ever possessed me to buy a black car, with black interior, in Houston, TX is beyond me. You talk about HOT in the summertime... Never again.

Black is the easiest to replace. Any color replacement part and a can of black SEM paint, maybe some SEM cleaner and surface prep and your set. TRY matching #702(mushroom) Grab parts from here, local bone yard, ebay or other MB lists.

Mushroom could be tough, look close at Saffron/Palomino also, it isn't a solid color, it has a pattern to it. Impossible to spray on.
