Don't forget the natural A/C and heat depending on the weather. There is definitely no squeezing in and out of the doors. I hate dropping a screw or nut when I am working on the car, it takes forever to find out there.

Oh, yeah, a painted floor!! No greasy spots on my garage floor --- they clean right up. I like a clean floor. Speaking of which, cleaning the garage today was successful. Got 6 packages boxed up for drop off on Monday.

You need to upgrade to some CFL's or some real shop lights! It must be like a dungeon in there when its dark out....and it wastes electricity.

CFL:

Agreed, I have four more shoplights waiting to be installed. I rehabed and expanded this tiny 1936 two-car garage when I moved here last year--just didn't quite finish before the projects started piling up, and I had to begin using the space.

Ignore the 300D and the goofy previous owner in the right (my stepdad ;-) )

That lift that my indy has is pretty nifty. I kinda wish I had the money to buy one like that.

My plans are to put up a new shop, version II. I've still got a 10k lift. Just need a place with 13' ceilings to set it up.

I just received the new Northern Tool & Equipment cataloge and the price if a 10k lift, I had no idea they were that cheap ($2849), now all I need is some place to put one.

I saw another one in the cataloge at lunch time, 6k capacity only $1999
