Its not the "300D" you're thinking of, these are rare indeed. You should see how much the wheel cylinders are for these, if you can even get them, they have 2 per wheel, you do the math........

They have to be kidding. You can get your old shoes relined for very little in many places. I might see a high price for a brake drum though.
The wheel cylinders are sleevable at maybe 40.00 each. Actually that can be far superior to new originals if done correctly. I would not want to know what those wheel cylinders cost new if you can find them. To top all this off the old 300 diplomats kind of vehicle was rumoured to have marginal brakes originally. Had a chance to pick up a pair of those cars once for 600.00 in pretty questionable condition. This was quite a few years ago when I was driving my fintail. |
