Yes, luxury once upon a time. I guess 24 year old rubber membranes don't hold up so well. Goop seems to have worked. I've been told, however, that once I put the element back in and get the seat back locking system functioning again, it is likely that another leak will spring. Sometimes this car feels like plugging holes in a slowly sinking ship.

Okay. GOOP did the job. We'll see how long it lasts...Thanks to getting the right diagram from toomanymbz, I figured out that when i closed all the doors, suddenly there was suction on the current vacuum line to the seatbacks. The configuration is a bit rigged, but it works. Turn the car on, and the locks engage....time to degrease and plug the leaks...yeah baby.
