81 300SD Blower issue

I have been attempting to get this car ready to drive. I am down to no blower operation.
I have a known good CCU, blower, and black box. I do not have 12V to the fuse for the fan, #11 I believe. IF I jump 12V onto this, it all works as it should.
How do I get the power back for the fuse for the blower? What can impact it? if it is a wire, where to and from?
Thanks

found a post that talked about a bad key switch. I went and started the car and turned the key a little, and it worked.
Would a bad switch also cause the car to charge and not charge at random, and also drain the battery?
Will it be easier to change the switch, or change the whole steering column from the parts car?

Thanks
Doug

First, arrow to the top of this page and click on Shop Forum.
This will take you to the home page. On this page arrow down to the DIY links by parts catagory.
Click on FAST NAVIGATION to DO IT YOURSELF LINKS
Click on BODY MECHANICAL & TRIM
Click on IGNITION CYLINDER TUMBLER REPLACEMENT
Click on IGNITION CYLINDER, SWITCH, or HOUSING?
Arrow down and read posts by WAYLIFESHOULDBE member.
