Mann OF oring leaks

I have had a Mann OF in my car for the last oil change. The oring it came with has always leaked a little. Prior to that I had a bosch OF...oring never leaked. Changed oil today and installed a Hengst filter with the oring it came with. Hengst oring was noticeably thicker than Mann. Anyone else notice this?

Mark

Good news for diesel owners...There's no such thing as cold...only the absence of heat!

No, I have not experienced this with any of the filters I've used, Bosch, Hengst, Mann, or Purolator.

I would have expected this from napa, but I thought Mann was pretty decent stuff.

So far, only the Carquest filter ( adn I'll never bother those guys again, its a pita for them to get MBz parts), had a sloppy oring. Too big. Had to reuse the old. That one was " made in Poland", if it matters.
