Just bought a flex disc for my 123 85 300TDT, but the part number is 126 410 ...

So I am wondering if this got mispicked at the warehouse, but being the weekend I cannot call Phil and find out for sure.

I typed in the 126....... and low and behold there is my flex disc on the mercedesshop parts page-looks and is priced at what I bought/need

So maybe it is the right part, but I am just used to seeing all the parts that I have bought for my 85 wagon, start with the 123.... designation.

That being said, maybe it is the same for the 123 and 126 chassis, but the 126 chassis same part is $30 more.

Any reliable information on this would be most appreciated

Thanks, The Kid

126 410 02 15 is the part number for and '85 w123 300TD. Many parts fit different body styles. So it common to find 123 parts with part numbers that start with 115 and 126.

flex disc installed, wagon back on the road

Thanks for the confirmation on this. I installed it yesterday, only took an hour. Sure wish I had a lift, instead of the factory jack, and a collection of
4x8s, 6x6s, and other chunks of wood to put the car up enough to get under the car and get some clearance. Looks like I need to replace an axle seal on the differential though. I think the stealership wanted $120 for the part, and then two hours, so that would have been a $300 repair, versus $55 bucks and a couple of hours of my day.

thanks for your help

The Kid

A flex disc? Why not replace them in a pair? Not trying to be a butt, just wondering. I just replaced both of mine and the center support bearing.
