Need size of the 4 nuts that hold cam box on

After fiddling around inside the engine, I realized I have misplaced all four nuts that hold the cam box on! I need to know the size, and if there is a specific type of threading that goes onto the bolts right. I am beginning to wonder if my garage has a portal to another dimension or something in it, because things like this have only happened to me since I moved in

Should be 10x1mm, possibly 10x1.25mm

10MM!!! really? that's a HUGE stud.. I bet it's more like 6 or 7mm... I also assume you are talking about the cam/rocker cover... not the cam towers or the like...

Try this - take out your air cleaner and remove one of the nuts that holds it to the bubber isolator - I think they are the same size. Try it on your stud to be sure, if OK go buy some at the hardware store. Any hardware store that has the loose boxed machine screws will have metric nuts as well. The above poster is correct - the 10mm is the size of the nut across flats, not the stud size - it is probably actually a 6mm.

10x1.xmm is a 13mm socket.
