Safeway using biodesel now
I was wandering around in the Safeway last night and their little intercom/advertising/music system mentioned that they were now using biodiesel in all of their trucks.

at the Safeway stores here in the the PDX area, the ones that have fuel pumps only offer biodiesel blends for diesel. Currently B5, but B20 during the other seasons.

That's because all fuel stations in Portland are required to sell biodiesel and ethanol blends. http://www.portlandtribune.com/news/story.php?story_id=118704573738994400 http://www.portlandonline.com/BDS/index.cfm?a=bibcdj&c=eehea

They have bio here in Cafalonia but want $.10 a gallon more for it. I'd LOVE to use it but won't pay more for it.

I read somewhere (I believe it was on a F250 site) that the bio lubricates better than most additives that we pay plenty for. With the ULSD, don't our pumps need that lube?

I think ten cents extra is worth it to do the right thing. I rather give my money to domestic sources.
