On my dad's 300SD I can use the key from my car to unlock his driver door, but not any other lock (or the ignition) on the car. His doesn't work on mine. His drivers door lock tumbler must be REAL tired. (it feels weird when you put a key in it, but it still works...)

when I pry out the plastic piece with the wire on it will I be able to put that same plastic piece into the 1991 lock cylinder I will be putting back in thanks Peter
