The 1st. picture is the battery underneath the air cleaner. It is a deep cycle battery that I got out of my RV. Whether this was the right choice, I can't really say with certainty. The positive wire connects through the relay, and back to the positive pole on the primary battery. The negitive wire is attached to the chassis.
The 2nd Picture is the primary battery with the lead going to the relay. The 3rd picture is the relay, it is rated at 80 amps at 12v. the control connection is at the fuse box (no picture) and closes the relay when the key is in the on position. The 4th picture is the general lay out of how the battery is positioned. The cold air duct work has been removed to accomodate the battery until winter is over. The battery is secured with a battery tray from AutoZone, as well as the mounting hardware. It is then screwed into the top of the wheel well. The relay was bought over the internet at an RV site ( I don't remember the name) it is called an isolating relay, and cost about 30 bucks. Dan Thanks to Racerx12367 for the pics. John
