W210 option: "front seat positioned lower" whats it mean?

The Russian site has shows the following as an option on my car:

"front seat positioned lower
memory package (driver's seat, steering column, mirror) (с 01.10.1993)"

Anyone know exactly what this means? Does it just mean the seat is lower, as for a tall driver? Or are the steering column and mirror also lower?

It also says the paint is "black" isn't there another name like "anthracite" if so how do I find it?

Every one I have ever seen says this. It's possible that they use this code when cars have sunroofs, which were standard in our car I believe. That way you make up for a little of the headroom lost to the sunroof.

Don't go by the names the russian site has for paint colors. M-B USA uses their own paint names for marketing purposes - just use the paint code number and you will know you have the right color. Anthracite was a gunmetal gray paint, if I recall, not black. They do have some special metallic black called "obsidium" or something like that though it is a special color, not the standard black.
