3rd Annual Pacific NW Get Together

It's getting to be that time of year again. This year I was thinking about doing a two day event with camping and a BBQ, but with one main day of activates so that people don't have to attend both days if they don't want to. The past years have been older diesels only, but I was thinking we could invite some gassers, and maybe some newer cars, depending on how large we want to make it.

How about Memorial Day? Camping would probably be crowded, but the three day weekend would make it easier to have a 2 day event.

What do all you think?

I'm in, the last few have been great. Should we do tech day and BBQ. I've seen some of the other posts and pics and a Tech days look like a lot of fun. Let me know if you need help with anything. P.S. hows Fatherhood:D

Tiring. :D

The tech day sounds like a good idea, we would need a large place to do it though. Any members in the area have a farm? :)

Lots of people leave town on Memorial Day. I could probably do an overnighter sort of thing on an ordinary weekend, but I couldn't do it on that weekend -- my family isn't interested enough to attend and I can't bail on them for two days of it. I suspect I'm probably not the only one in that boat.

How about multiple one-day gatherings instead?

Competing with a national holiday isn't a good idea in my book. The roads can be murder, literally.

I'm all for a 2 day event though. Now to find a girl to take that has a tent :D

I would be interested in a non-holiday weekend.

I was on the fall Coastal to Astoria/Washington.

Geoff in Oregon

300SD in Astoria

OK, non-holiday weekend it is...any suggestions for a date?

Looks like I'll still be an MB owner for the next couple months. What dates are you thinking? How about a poll with some dates?

How about tagging along with the Seattle chapter of MBCA on a rally drive?

April 19th:

I'm in if anyone's still interested in doing something. Tech day sounds fun but I'm up for anything. (and unfortunately, I don't know anyone with a farm)

ConnClark 03-18-2008 04:35 PM

April 19th might work for me it just depends on if our local hockey team is still in the playoffs :D . It may work out beautifully if we end up playing some team from that side of the state that weekend.

I'm at school until May 10, so no April dates for me.

bgkast 03-26-2008 03:48 PM

Save the date: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=217446

It's now a summer get together. :D
