Euro Lights? and other headlight questions

Okay well i've searched and looked at pics, and can't seem to tell what the difference is between Merican and Euro headlights. Are euro the round lights? Anyone have pics side by side for a once and for all comparison? Also what are euro bumpers?

I replaced my 6024's with some 7" lights with a replaceable H4 bulb. I broke the spring on the drivers side, Why do they use a spring? Im thinking i need to upgrade the wiring, is this just a simple using 8-10 ga copper wire and replacing the factory? How far back does the wiring go

I also need to aim these babies and was wondering how to do it? I know i use the thumb screws but whats the procedure? Do i park x feet away from a wall and then what?

thanks

heres a pic of my merc, what do i have lights and bumpers?

there are two versions of the euro lights

the squares and the round version. Both use an H4 bulb

square version. If you look closely you can tell the W123 on the left( euro 280CE) has euro spec coupe bumpers which do not have bumper shocks and do not stick out as far as US Spec bumpers

US Specs

round euro spec lights
(one piece glass lense)

You Have

US Spec sealed beams and US Spec "park bench" bumpers
