WOW!!! 250000 km and 500000km milage awards today

Had a Fed-Ex note on the door yesterday unable to deliver, needed signiture.
The guy came back this afternoon, I signed and he handed me two large boxes from mercedes. HMMM, I didn`t order anything from MB. then it hit me, WOW Oh boy, YES. there here.

these things look good and actually larger than I thought, hope they dont faid or peal like some have said.
and two nice cataloges with all kinds of goodies, guess that is how we pay for them I thought they were free? also two portfolios with the signed certificates of milage.

Now what other car company does that?

so now I only have 133000 miles for the 750000 km badge.

Charlie

Congratulations Charlie. I got mine recently too. If you got the rectangular plastic washers like I did, consider trimming them before you put them on your grill. The corners stick out from behind the badge if you don't snip them off first.

Yes these only come in kilometers until you hit a million miles then it is in miles.
250000 km 155000 miles
500000 km 312000 miles
750000 km 468000 miles
100000000 km 625000 miles
100000000 miles

so you are eldgible for the 250000 km

thank you for the tip on the washers, looks like Iam going to have to buy some nuts for the back, they don`t come in the box.

I ordered these badges on feb 1, and they arrived feb 20, pretty good time. the lady said it would take 4 to 6 weeks. she has worked at Stall Motors for 30 years, maybe she has some pull with MB.

soon as it quits raining I was thinking about painting the grill black to clean it up some. these things get chaulky with age.

How do we get these badges? Just call the local dealership, or can we order them online?

I applied for both the 250k and 500k badges at the same time. I was told you need to use a separate application for each badge but you can mail them in the same envelope. I got mine with no problem.

Send in another application, I'm sure you'll get it.

Follow this link and download the application. You need to get a dealer to sign off on the mileage. I've heard you can have a notary do it too.

When I went to the dealer I had one application that I printed off the web site CHAD has listed above. I would have had two aplications, but the printer decided to act up half was through printing the second one. The lady at the dealership was surprised I had one, maybe most people come in empty handed. she said she had copys in her office that it wasn`t a problem.

There was a young kid behind the counter that had only been there for 3 months, was surprised that I had a car with over 300000 mi on it and still running. plus he learned that MB gives out awards for milage. these are like Hash marks the military uses for yrs of service.

when I go to the Pick N Pulls, I always look for any kind of grill badges. I never see any of any kind. Probably got plucked before I got there. I try to get there on Wed. to see what new inventory is there before the week end pluckers get there.

I wonder what the percentage of Mercedes people actually know about the badge program? and the percentage of cars that have them? I never see a vehicle with one, so the application rate must be small.

Here's a link to my gallery. I have some pics of the 250k and 500k grill badges, packaging and a pic of them on my blacked out grill.

I have painted the hood pull since.
