How hardis it to find a manual?

There are lots of 123's out there, about what percentage of them are manuals? I figured more of the 240's would have manual transmissions since they're not turbocharged...actually I guess the only manual 300's are euro versions?

Thats right. I would guess roughly half of all 240s were sticks. Just a guess though.

It would be interesting to see some "official" numbers on the 240D mix. Looking at the survivors rate 20+ years later, I think the rate is more like 75% slushbox/25% stick. That doesn't mean thats what they built, though. Maybe the auto went to more little old ladies who took care of them rather than running them into trees.
