W123 transmission needed in SF bay area. Mechanical advance.

My tranny gave out. It's out of the car. Anybody in the San Francisco Bay Area with a good unit for sale? Thanks a bunch. Lawrence Rhodes.....

You need to list what year w123, model, auto or stick. then someone can help you a little better.
Maybe fill in your signature and location, that way you don`t have to list it ea time.

Peter Schmid used to be the place for rebuilt transmissions in the Bay Area. I don't know if they still are.

The fellow at Mercedes Werkstatt rebuilt the tranny of my 91 300SE. I sold the car a couple of years later so I can't comment on the longevity of the rebuild. I saw the car on the road a few months ago but I don't know if it's needed tranny work.
