Hopefully my last injector question

I bought new injector nozzles, and I was wondering if I could use a 240D Injector (everything spring, shim, etc) except replace the nozzle with the new one ordered for the 190D. These injectors are 115bar, which is what I need.

bro.. your in luck.. I have 5 injectors in my hands now.. for a 190D 2.5 non turbo.. they should work

ForcedInduction 02-21-2008 09:19 PM

Yes.

NickCox 02-21-2008 09:26 PM

ok thanks

Thanks Thedon for the offer, but if these injectors I already have I'll use them.

And also thanks Forced for a quick reply

I was wondering Don do you still have the 190D you took the head off of?

TheDon 02-21-2008 11:24 PM

yes.. James still has it... what do you need? (it was a 2.5)

it still has

vacuum pump
electric vacuum pump
injection pump
interior
door panels
viper alarm system

I'll pull the injectors from the head when we drag it to the scrapper on saturday and just hold onto them.

How much do you want the vacuum pump for? And to ship it to Iowa?

Also I have the nozzles replaced. I was wondering whether I should just put them in the car or have them tested at a local diesel shop.

What do they do (at the shop) if the pressure is out of spec?
