It was a cab chassis,just found an add but no photos ,real curious what it looks like.

Go to www.mobile.de and do a search on Mercedes 307d and you'll see plenty. It has the 616 engine.
Some years ago I posted pictures of my 307d motorhome but it was a class A built on the 307d chassis so they don't really show the basic appearance of the original vehicle.
