Wiring Diagram

Greetings,

Could someone supply me a wiring diagram for a '83 300cd-t?
I have the Haynes manual, but it does not show the WD for this year vehicle. I'm trying to track down problems with the power antenna. Tks...........

Just out of curosity, what kind of problems are you experiencing with your antenna?

I'm having some problems with my antenna as well. Seems it works when it wants to, which is not all the time. I've replace the antenna unit and the problem persist, I'm begining to think too that this is wiring related as I've checked my switch and it functions as designed. I've been chasing this problem for the past few weeks, I'm running out of patience as I feel I've been tail chasing.

tnx,
jeric

Cool

Jeric,

I purchased this 300cd about a month ago. The PO had installed a new radio/cd system. The radio antenna lead is hooked up and reception is ok. I think the wiring is crossed up on the between the antenna switch and the antenna motor. The switch and motor check out ok independently, they are just not working together.

Moraine

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm gonna bank on the ground wire in the trunk. Seems I started having this problem about time I was doing stuff in the trunk area. So if I understand this correctly there is an independant ground for the antenna, and ground is NOT provided via the wiring harness?

I'll give that a try and keep my fingers crossed, as I would prefer not to have to go into the harness.

tnx for the advice,

jeric
