How to install protective dust cap on front hub?
Thanks for all your assistance with installing the bearings and helping me with the paint on my new rotors. Now that everything is almost done, it figures that I can't get the last piece on: the dust cap. How do I get the damn thing to slide on? I tried banging on it a little and all I get are little dents..... and little progress. What have you guys done in the past? Thanks again. Almost done!!!
Alex

Too Much Grease.
Have had same problem in past. Grease will not compress, so if there is no "empty space" under cap,no amount of banging will get it to snug on. If you remove just a little grease it will go on easy. Good luck.
