Carpet kits.

Is there a dealer out there who carries molded kits for the 123 series? 300cd, '78.

I think I saw a place but don't remember where on the web.
Do a google search on 'mercedes interior'. I think that's where I found it.

At least one of those above mentioned vendors sells items on ebay on occasion.

If it is just a driver and not a show car you can make a fairly nice carpet set using standard office type carpet and some time. My bro-in-law has done some nice looking carpet jobs in cars using cheap rolls of carpet.

i bought carpet and pad from a source posted here on the forum. search my posts. The mercedes carpet is a lot of flat pieces overlapped, no molded carpets so it is really easy to do a nice looking job. mine looked awesome in the 300d for a couple hours work. i cut the new carpet shapes by tracing the old ones. the edges dont unravel on the interior carpets I bought and i also tucked them under and rolled the edges when possible. i also bought some foam pad to put underneath where the old stuff came apart but for the most part I used the old pad by slowly peeling it off the old carpet and spray adhesive attached it to the new.
