Hampton Roads

Anyone from the Hampton Roads (Virginia) area in the forum? Where do you bring your Diesels? Thanks.

Also had other questions related to relocating to the area. Would be nice to touch base with a resident who also keeps MBs around.

Autobahn Auto

I just flew down to Hampton from NH to buy a 79 300D I got off ebay.
It was a small little Mercedes only shop in Hampton called Autobahn Auto. Ask for Martin. He went to MB Tech School in Germany, and has been working on MB, new and old, his whole life. Very friendly and knowledgable.

Come on down!! The weather has to be better than up there. At least in the winter time anyways. I tend to keep a few MB's around. 4 at last count.

Did you check under the Virginia shops area? I know there are some mentioned in there. Yeah, the winters down here HAVE to be better than the ones in Michigan!

P, well, one of these days its bound to happen.... this year's winter isn't helping either...

btw, my TD is parked in the garage right now waiting for the starter replacement. Just got back from a 2-week break... so I think I will wrap it up this weekend.
