Little to no value on a 29 year old first aid kit, looks only. Original spare, wheel, common, yet again, too old to use.

I have a Johnson & Johnson first aid kit that came in a plastic box that I transfered from my previous car. The kit fits perfectly in place of the original w123 kit. I think the J&J one cost $15 or so from Kroger or Wal-Mart and has all the modern stuff you really might use... advil, bandaids, ointments, cold pack, ace bandage, gauze, tape, tweezers, etc... if anyone is interested I'll post the product

An original first aid kit is worthless, if not dangerous, to use as it was intended because it will no longer be sanitary. Old medical supplies should never be trusted to work as intended and should be replaced yearly or every few years. A full size spare tire should be swapped in with the normal 5-tire rotation. I doubt a 29 year old tire would last more than a few miles of use. |
