My flex discs have probably been changed. They look fairly new.

Yes

Yes,supposedly automatic reset(if the "short" has been repaired)...When you
cycle the key back to position "O".

Pmari had posted this information back on post #60.
(I was too involved to be cognizant of it then.)

I'm such a "Spooky" old fussbudget...I'm gonna get a inline fuse holder like
you see in picture at the bottom.and "Fuse" the RED/HOT cable to term 30.
'Cannot do any harm(other than minimal loss due to connections) and will
protect that $120.00 Glow Relay.

Although one could make an excellent case that the Automatic dis-connect
has functioned perfectly for 18 years. (or there have been no shorts that
were quicker than the relays ability to sense them and dis-connect.)

I will put some on, is it ok to spray them with wd 40 and let it soak all night? I am not going to do any work tonight, too cold. I will do it tomorrow.

There are better penetrating catalysts. PB Blaster comes to mind.

Thumbs up

Well guys after 2 hours of work, she is running again. I broke the electric connection on the #4 glow plug, so I only have 4 new glow plugs in but ordered one more. Will be in tuesday. Thanks for all the help. The glow plug light did not come on when I turned the key. But it started right up, then the glow plug light came on. Why?

I would say because of #4 not working.

Did you get them all without having to remove anything?
