I've finally corrected vacuum and electrical issues after 3 years of ignorance with this my first diesel. I've checked the forum for rough idle info but haven't seen anything quite like my problem. Engine starts quickly and idles nicely when cold but the idle when engine is warm is not as smooth. Its an ambitious idle and driveability from a stop and onward is just fine ; smooth appropriate shift points and plenty of apparent power. Idle is consistently controlled @ 650 RPM. I'm not having real problems with the warm/hot idle; just want to get it as smooth as the cold engine idle.

Mow that I've let the new controls settle in driveability , mpg and idle are much improved. Jack
