300TD Wagon Rear Wiper... I give up

So, I've decided that having a functional rear wiper isn't worth the hassle and expense, so I'm going to just remove it. Has anybody done the same, and if so, any ideas of how to finish the area nicely where the wiper was so that it doesn't look half-arsed?

Thanks.

Just leave it there, nobody has to know it doesn't work.

But think of the weight I could save with that motor removed Chad! Might shave my 0-60 time from 18 seconds to 17.9999999 seconds! Ha!

Chad thinks like I do. I always take the course of least resistance. My days of trying to prove stuff to somebody are over . . .

Yes, I'm very concerned about what society will think about my inoperable rear wiper :-/

I really like the look and lines of this car, and if the rear wiper isn't working, I'd like to just get rid of it because personally I think it would look better. Nitpicky? Sure, but, to each his own. My personal philosophy is "less is more".

Cheers.
