I don't either, but you can bet I will try to group my classes more next semester to reduce the amount of times I have to drive their. Currantly I make 7 trips a week, and its about 20ish miles round trip.

My money problems are simple, I need to make more of it.

Probably wouldn't be fair if I used my CTD, that has been taking over $100 to fill for a long time. The other car will only take 10 gallons when it is almost empty. Of course it will only go 490 miles on a tankful. I might start liking that car if gas hits $4.00 a gallon.

We all might start liking them if it keeps going up.

MB should import the C200 CDI. Screw speed, give me a nice little 4 cylinder diesel, bet it does 40mpg or better.

Funny this subject just came up now. I Just got the 560SEC out of the resto/paint shop after three weeks this Friday afternoon.

Filled up on the way back.

$74 dollars!!!! Highest ever. $3.86 a gallon for Chevron Supreme w/Techron (which is what the car drank its whole life since I had it.)

The most fuel I've ever put in at once was about 19.7 gallons, but it only cost like $45 back when that occurred. Those were the days I can remember when I first got my car I could put in 15-16 gallons and have it cost less than $30! (fuel was like $1.40-1.55 or so) Insane.

My most expensive fillup yet has been about $64.60 for 16.7 gallons or so. My most expensive yet will be yet to come. As the fillup I just mentioned was 2.2 weeks ago at $3.85! Now the prices are ALL $4.19....so I'll be over the $70 mark come this Saturday (when I will have to fill up with about 17-18 gallons)

Overall it hasn't been hurting that much. Me and my lovely have simply been staying home more and watching movies with my projector/screen at home rather than going out to the movies....and we make fun meals ourselves nearly always instead of going out once every couple weeks. Minor cuts (that don't really affect us) have been getting us by/balanced just fine....and neither of us (students) make very much money. When I graduate in a couple months the fuel cost issue will become even more minimal if I can find a good job....

Well inthe truck I can go over $100 easy! Last fill up was over $120!

I have not had the diesel since January so I am infor sticker shock once I have to fill it.

I do hope that an SDL will get better mileage than the SD did (26-27mpg)

Wish me luck as I am going to try to make a deal on one today...

$78.00 for 19 or 20 gallons for me. $3.96 a gallon here in NC. Ouch.

You'd have to keep the speed down to 65 mph if you want to get consistently above 28 mpg. That's hard to do with an SDL.........they like to run at 70-75. If you drive them at that speed, you won't do any better than the SD........and, could possibly be worse if a lot of city driving is involved.

I'm gonna have to wait a week or two to jump on this one. Just filled up Wednesday - $59 for 15 gallons. And I didn't use it all weekend. I took a Q7 home to move a few things.

Crap... although I have 'learned' to put the 'Burban on cruise control at ~68mpg I just CAN'T drive the speed limit! Otherwise I get 10mpg in the beast. I need to get a 300SDL with working CC!

Most of my driving is on state roads with a limit between 45 and 60 except for when I head to NY on I-81 and I-78. Then it is autobahn time or you get run off the road by an 18 wheeler.
