ARG,

Diesel #2 just went above $3.00/per gallon here, now at $3.05 when it had remained steady at $2.85 for months.

well, my new car hauler has a 100Gallon tank, and it's about 1/2 full right now... I think it'll take right at 295.00 to fill it up if I ever let it get low...
my TD has taken 19+gallons to fill at 3.09, I COASTED into the station as it stalled from fuel... filled it up to the brim and don't remember the total, around 65.00 not sure what the price was then. I'm at 1/2 tank right now, so it'll be needing fill up monday, and the price spiked today up about 8cents... if it's up at my low price BP, (oxymoron, I know... but state lines and taxes make it the best local price...) I'll be paying 2.91 I think.

I don't know yet, I've not driven it anywhere.
I'm told it should get around 10mpg.
I'm hoping for more, but don't expect it. the thing is HUGE! 12950lbs nothing on it but a driver and the fuel.

Diesel around here has a huge price range, from 2.99 to 3.25 or so currently. Gas jumped the most.....I paid $2.87 for premium last time the 300E needed it, now tomorrow I will have to fill it at around $3.37!

I still have a receipt taped to the side of my desk that reminds of the dark times. 13.24 gallons of diesel at 4.59 was $61 That was in mid august, 2008.

My most expensive fillup in the SD was around $94......for about 19.5 gallons

Back when the price went silly before the crash, diesel got to $A 1.89 per liter. When empty my 300D takes 82 liters to fill, thats $A 155 to fill it ! The exchange rate was about .75 at the time, so well over $US 100 to fill. Its about $1.25 a liter at the moment & the exchange rate is about 1 for 1 so just over $100 to fill at the moment. I dont understand what you guys are complaining about.
I have a friend with a 1418 benz with a 4,000 gallon tanker trailer, I sometimes borrow it to get bulk loads. Thats over $15,000 in a fill. Dont think that counts for this thread though. We then get about $4,000 in rebates because its for off road use.
