manual primer pump
After splicing into a couple of fuel lines I'm having trouble getting my 93 300D started. Is the lever thats located near the lift pump the manuel primer pump? It says "stop" on it.

I don't know a lot about your engine, but I'm pretty sure you don't have a primer pump. That lever sounds like the manual shut off lever.

Kerry's correct. You prime your IP by cranking the starter.
Pull the canister filter and make certain its full first. Park nose downhill or put rear end up on a couple of 2 x 4's too.
