I am retooling my speedo to read correctly in the SD... anybody wanna pop the side off their speedo and count the small radii on the outer gear and tell me how many teeth they have?
I know the speedo will still be off, but this will fix the odo so it's accurate.

to be specific, I want somebody that has changed both their speedo and rear to match to count the small gear side of the outer gear and report how many teeth it has.
another thought is, will this fix it?

Since the SD is electronic, why not just get a speedometer recalibrator. My SD has perfect speed and odo even though it's now got the 2.88 and 215 tires.

It's about $90. but, I think it's worth it.
