What are these parts??
So I was messing around with my 300SD and installing an Alpine accessory when I came across these two plugs. They were behind the carpet on the passenger side sideway. I assume they should be plugged into something, but I could not find anything that was unplugged. Anyone have any ideas?

They may be for an alarm system. You should put in your signature what year 300SD you have so we don't have to ask, what year 300SD do you have? That might affect the answer. We need to hear from some SD owners.

They look like connections to the alarm system. My friend has an 85 300SD and it has similar plugs.

Interesting! I did not know my car had an alarm system. Or is it that it just has the connections and not the alarm?

My guess is it was disconnected because the alarm was going haywire. I know we disconnected mine for that very reason.
