Agreed, you may want to have your current injectors tested to determine/justify any money "investment".

believe me those are orginal injectors. never changed, well they were but then changed back to orginal in like 1999 because they weren't the right ones.

No blow off valve. The wastegate is adjustable. There's a procedure for that written up in an old thread somewhere.

The mileage seems low for the injectors to be bad. After you do your fuel filters, valve adjustment, and a diesel purge, if you still suspect your injectors you should pull them and have them tested.

is that wastegate whistle after shifting? how about i do this, change the fuel filters.. the primary WAS NEVER EVER CHANGED NEVER. and i do that diesel purge, and that banjo bolt clean thing. if i dont notice anything i will do the valve adjustment, and if that dont work ill do the injectors.

and if that is the wastegate that whistles after shifts and im not dumb thats not a turbo whistle im hearing

You should do the valve adjustment anyway if it's been over 15,000 miles since it was done last.

Other than the turbo which I can barely hear, I've never noticed anything whistle in my 300 before, during, or after shifts.

A valve adjustment should be done every 15K weather you notice any problems or not.

You shouldn't be able to hear the turbo at all, if you can you have a bad air filter seal or a turbo problem.

Funny you should mention this. I saw someone who had a Nissan Diesel and he swore by putting a little Methamphetamine into the fuel tank! Corse he also repainted his truck with a brush!
