Great Day: Texas Roadtrip adventure

What a day...

Left Austin to San Antonio to meet "Zeke" today for lunch, plus the wifey and baby "Z". Helluva a nice family. Bought my friend and I lunch, too. Great Mexican food, but they somehow manage to put as much meat as possible in a plain cheese enchilada.

Little "Z" reminded me so much of myself at that age. He was climbing into the 240d playing with the steering wheel and the gear shift; something I used to do with my convertible all the time when I was very young.

Here's some pictures of us being goof balls. My friend Jen and I had a great time. Thanks so much "Zeke" family.

Nice pics Tyler, and looks like you are enjoying better days than at the start of the trip. Zeke's family, place and fleet are looking good also. Nice group pics!
Nice view out the hotel too.
Keep us posted and keep snapping the pics.

Corpus is pretty cool; no idea on the club scene, though. Not enough time.

I was shocked by all the empty, available ocean side lots, and ample parking. Reminds me of visiting panhandle Florida beaches as a child, before the overdevelopment.

Beach isn't the cleanest I've been to, Destin, FL takes the cake with that, but by far less dirty than SoCal beaches.

No women... or any I'd like to see in swimsuits. Its kind of family and older crowd, at least where I'm at.

We had a great time too...nice to meet you and your compadre.

Glad Texas treated you right (once you got through all the rain).

The pics are great! LITTLE Z loved your car!
Thanks for helping us find our family truckster.

The snow here all melted in December (2005!) That was the last time we saw it here in San Antonio.
