Ok ... guys... consider this....

Consider maybe the guy is telling the truth about 29,900 miles? I haven't seen it, and don't plan to, but for those looking for a car of this vintage, unlike Spiderman who spun his own web, it IS possible that a car like this only has 29,900 miles on it. Gotta ask him if yer interested or you'll never know! Maybe it's a rebuild, I dunno. But it IS possible.

It could be legit, you never do know. If I was close and in the market I'd go look at it. But I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Ok Jeff, I'll give you this. Perhaps he is not a MB enthusiast, and perhaps he is just someone that thinks they have a low milage old car. They know it's a Mercedes, so it has to be worth more than the average old car, so he throws a price tag on it. Can he be so uninformed as to not check ebay pricing, or other pricing guides? Could be. I'm just saying, if I were trying to sell a car with purported low miles, I would take better pics of it, and add a link with lots more pics.
This could be the proverbial "Chevy in a garage that turns out to be a Corvette". I will never know.
There have been a couple on Ebay lately that were extremely nice, so I wouldn't go so far as to say that about the nicest one you'll see in your life.

A person could start a second career dealing in mint to excellent drivers seats. I think it is the first place a lot of potential purchasers look at. I also agree there are occasionally some pretty good cars. Or good looking low milage claimed ones up for sale.
Unfortunatly there was a 130k coupe up last week . The vendor claimed this and that but the drivers seat was sagged and seams going bad. The drivers seat could be in that condition at that milage just not too possible in my opinion. Great story with the car to match of course.
For example I have a really good perhaps mint spare interior for a 126 low milage gasser in a medium dark brown tex. Drop that into a car with very high milage and the car would draw high bids perhaps. Of course the speedometer would have to be fixed if not fixed enough the last time. Then it becomes my 130 year old grandmothers last car. Only driven to church and back.
