Here's a simple question......

I have an easy question for everyone: where the heck is my vacuum pump located? I have a 1983 300D. Thanks

Alex

location of vacuum pump

If it's the same as my '85 300D you stand at the front of the engine, follow the large vacuum line back from the brake booster toward the front of the engine, under the cruise control and the pump is on the upper right hand front of the engine, between the water pump and the power steering pump.
Happy hunting. Dan
