Do Bilstein HD's really raise the front of your Benz?
I was going to install Bilstein HD front shocks today, however, after reading a few threads, it seems that they raise the front of your car about an inch. If that's the case, I'll have to pass since the rear of my 300TD already appears a bit low. Anybody else have experience with this?

I think it might be true. I had my wagon front end rebuilt, and he called and said the shocks were toast and he would throw some on without a labor charge. I told him I wanted comforts but I think he used HD's. My front end is at least an inch higher than it was......
Kinda hard to tell from those, but it is pretty high. Had to bump the back end up alittle just to even things out.....

Thanks Jimmy, yeah, that's not ideal and that does seem to be the consensus. Guess these will be going back in exchange for the comforts...
By the way, nice looking rig!

Any new shocks will raise the car a little. I think they settle.

I don't know about the TD, but on the D I just replace all four at once.
