W126 Intermittent Wiper Problem

Hi Guys,
1981 300SD. When wipers are on intermittent, they work fine for about 5 minutes, then start "parking" in mid stroke i.e. they do not return to the retracted position. Is this likely a relay problem, and if so where is the relay and what is the part number. I know it's minor, but it drives me nuts. The wipers work fine on both low and high otherwise. Thanks in advance for your input.

Pull all the fuses one at a time and clean the ends with a scotchbite pad. Stick 'em back in an rotate a few times to clean up the holder contacts.

A light misting of WD40 will help prevent this intermittant contact that you are most likely experiencing.

I had this very same problem with my W126 then it started poping fuses
The linkage had worn a spot in the wire
