W126 Replacement Seat Belt Source
 
The driver's side retractable seat belt on my 1981 300SD is shot (will no longer retract). I've done searches to find a source for a new one and have come up dry. Does anyone have a source for this part other than the dealer? Thanks.

To get a new one you could call phil/roy on this site (click buy parts at the top of the page and it has their phone numbers) to see if they can get one.

Otherwise the dealer may be your only source of parts like that....

Would a used one be worth the effort?

Their is no aftermarket for these cars, the dealer is the only source. But order it through Phil to support this site.

I'm really not interested in a used one, I figure most of them are just as shot as mine. I'll call Phil today to see if he can get one. Thanks.
