What is the color code for Palomino? Dealer didn't know what Palomino was, the parts person said it was 8326.

If you don't have the credit-card sized metal plate that came in your glovebox, check the plate next to the hood latch. It is 174 on my '87s, I believe on the 123s it is 1?4, should be stamped there.

Otherwise the vin will tell on the Russion M-B site.

Palomino is better known as mb-tex java (154).

Good point, Saffron is the non-US color description for "Palomino". I don't believe that leather was available in the 240D?

Actually I found leather to be the same, 154 as tex.

Yea but you can't take the Russian site as totally accurate. ;)
MB Tx starts with 1, as in 154.
Same color in leather is 254.

Per. the Russia site it says that the interior is 134, but it is unknown.
