2 of mt feul injector assemblys are leaking feul. The leak is between the round part on top and the sided part that screws into the block. Why is this, and what is the correct repair that needs to be made? Jerry

Sounds like the nozzle holder needs to be remoived, separated, evaluated and reassembled with proper torque. If that don't fix it, I'd get another one.

Is most common for the leak to occur at the braided cloth "return" lines. Spray it clean first, then look again.

If the two halves of the inj are leaking there were probably taken apart and not lapped before being put back together.

at what point do i have to make the desicion to replace them altogether

Step 1. Spray good quality degreaser and rinse off and let dry.
Step 2. start engine and let idle and watch carefully where the fuel leak is originating
Step 3. disassemble the offending leaking part and replace/reseal it.

more than likely, it is just the cloth braided lines leaking fuel and it is dribbleing down and showing up around the injector body.

if it is for sure leaking out the injector body, then you will need to pull the injector, and attempt to tighten it up, but if that does not work, a injector shop will have to repair it.
and if you are going to that much trouble, just have them spray pattern/pop test them all, and have a complete set of matched injectors. then clean out the holes, and replace the shields, and you are good to go for another 150Kmiles!

I agree with the others, replace the jumper fuel lines. If you think you have a performance (oxymoron!) problem, then do as vstech suggested, have 'em tested before you decide to replace, new nozzles are cheaper than an entire injector, but you may find somewhere that the price difference is not much. Remember, install new heat shields if you pull 'em at all.
