Nardi Steering Wheel Installed

My car may not have most of the interior in it right now, but at least now it has a nice leather Nardi wheel. Now I won't feel like I am driving a school bus!

You got it. Pardon the dust.

The adaptor and horn button I used were a NOS dealer accessory, but you can find new ones on ebay.

Nope, its not right. An old mercedes has a bus-wheel. Your car is no longer a Mercedes Benz. It will stop rusting go faster and start wearing.

Sorry to break it to you Nardi guys...

Funny at the different "tastes" on things like this. I love the big ole stock steering wheel and love the character and "feel" they have. I don't mind the Nardi's on yalls cars though. It does look more appropriate on the SL though....

Agreed... Boat steering wheels for the boats. I'm not switching it on my 300d.

The boat steering wheel is far more comfortable than the Nardi for long road trips.

My only beef with the Nardi is that I have the larger diameter wheel and it still partially blocks the insrument cluster. It sure does look cool, but I'm blind from the 70-110 mph on the speedometer without moving my head down.

So any Nardi wheel will fit as long as you get the Mercedes-nardi adapter?
I would like to get one and replace the bus wheel.

That is correct. The wheel I got was used, the new ones are very expensive. For some reason all of the good used ones are in Japan, which is where the seller of mine was located.

Wheel looks good. It will be interesting to see how it feels when she's back on the road.

I got the seat back in today so I got to see how the new wheel feels, and it feels real nice! It does block the very top of the speedometer though...

I can't wait to try it out on the road.
