value of my beat up 190D?

So, I'm trying to sell my car. the big reason's are that I don't like the automatic trans this car has (72HP at 2900 lbs, with a auto was not a good idea) and more over my wife is uncomfortable riding in this car. O, and I have somewhere around 13 vehicles and it's time to start trimming them.

past that, I would like your opinion on the valuation of this high performance piece of automotive engineering As I have someone that is interested in it but he thinks (to him) it's only worth 5-600 and I don't want to go below $1100 so, I'll ask you guys, what would you give? Sorry the pictures are so dark. It does have a decent amount of rust on it, all the jack holes are rusted out and it you look carefully at the back pass door you can see a big dent with rust.

The jack holes are very important..... if you can get any cash from someone that understands they are rusted out I would take it....and be glad you did not get caught out on the road needing to fix a flat....

236K, things that don't work, A/C, Sunroof, clock.

As far as the jack holes, it's rusted on the rocker panels, but not on the underside if that makes sense? I don't know how they usually rust or what have you, but I do know this car feels tight driving down the road.

You should try using those holes to jack up the car so you can warn buyers if they are not sturdy enough to use... and perhaps you should try stopping the rust before you sell it...

o, and mech condition, it runs good, started up over the winter in 5 degree weather with no block heater (I can't plug it in were I live, but the block heater works) and now that I've flushed the trans it shifts fine again.

In that condition, I would have taken the $500 and run.

And thats why you have 13 vehicles in your stable.....

It's, at best, a $500 parts car in my book.

You may "want" $1100 bucks, but you have conflicting "wants". You want $1100 bucks, you want to sell the car. The two wants don't match......
That car is merely and engine donor, and you should take his $$ and celebrate being down to 12.......
I'm just saying........

One of my co workers has the same car with 246K and non functional A/C. She started trying to sell it for 1500 about a year ago. She had one offer of 900 but wouldn't let it go for less than a grand. She still has it.
