I like the top sider. I don't have to get dirty while changing the oil, its already in a container so I just bring it to autozone to recycle, and I'm done.

I always fill my 606 through the filter opening, but it's not because I'm necessarily going to be starting the engine immediately. The reason is simply because it works, and the opening is much larger than the valve cover cap.
As for removing the old oil, I have done it both ways. I have removed the plug and let the engine drain for an hour. With that method, the new oil is again black within a mile of driving. I have suctioned for about 45 minutes, until no more was coming out. With that method, the new oil stays honey-colored for hundreds of miles. I now never drain and always suction. |

I use a topsider. Found it at a garage sale in Orlando about a year ago for $20. I did the same as a couple of others, pumped it out then pulled drain plug to check. Nothing came out. I like not having to crawl under. I'm getting to old/lazy for that any more. LOL
