GVWR of a 240D?
I know an early 1980's 240D weights about 3250, but does anyone know the GVWR?
I would also like to know if they have power steering? I suspect they do. Thanks Peter |

Most would have power steering. I don't have the book in front of my but I bet the gvw would be around 900 more than basic weight.

All had power steering. It was an option on some W115 models.

From the stickers in the door jamb of my '77:
GVWR 4400lbs Capacity 930 lbs Subtracting gives an estimated curb weight of 3470 lbs. I weighed mine once and it was close to that, but I don't remember the exact number and I don't have the scale ticket anymore. As far as I know, all U.S. market W123's came with power steering. They made Euro versions without PS early in the production run. I don't think they are very common.
