I use Bosch, $8 to $10 each.
Don't know about interchangeability, search a parts store online, compare part numbers.

Well, I read and read on here...comments that Autolite GPs last a week...they are WRONG!....Mine lasted 2 days!!!!
I needed some FAST last December because 300SD was only vehicle available to drive. Advance Auto could get them in 12 hours.- they are all blown and Advance will replace them - with MORE Autolites....no thanks. Will buy Bosch and chalk this up to a stupid tax.

I usually prefer Bosch but would also use Beru regardless of country of origin...just stay away from other brands.

Just did the glow plugs on my OM606. I had bought Bosch after some research. The ones that came out of my car were marked Bosch and had the 3-pointed star on them. For my type of glow plugs, someone pointed out that the Bosch seem to have a slightly bigger head for the socket to fit onto (as compared to the Beru).
Good luck with your project. wbuhrman |

Being from Tennessee and seeing the "stupid tax" comment means you must be a Dave Ramsey listener.
Just saw him in Kansas City last Saturday. I put all new Bosch plugs in this past February. I got them for like $11 at the local NAPA. |

FWIW, I paid $90 for bosch gps last year. Too much, but I was in a hurry and bought them off a local indy mechanic.

When I bought my car I found some autlite GP's in the trunk with broken tips. About a year later I found that 3 of the prechambers on the car were blown out the end. DO NOT USE AUTOLITE.

Well, it was after tax...$18 each. But no, I installed 'em myself. Heck, fastlane sells 'em for $15 each before tax and shipping.
