I though Lutz won it after the scammer was found out.

Anyone got a pic of what something like that might look like installed?

lutzTD 04-14-2008 07:32 PM

same guy, he must have a few because I have tracking that mine will be here tomorrow.

lietuviai 04-14-2008 07:58 PM

So how does it attach? Does it just bolt on or do you need to modify the front valance?

Yeah, I'd like to see that, too. I wonder how it would look on a wagon.

BoomInTheTrunk 04-14-2008 10:48 PM

here is a quick photoshop of what it will look like.

For a good quality copy of that for a few hundred dollars... Sign me up! Perhaps these can be modified somehow for U.S bumpers?

TheDon 04-14-2008 11:43 PM

regardless I am on the list

Can't see the appeal of putting plastic krap on a W123.

TheDon 04-14-2008 11:55 PM

maybe I can get one made out of carbon fiber... it would add like 10 hp

If you can get the carbon fiber intake, add another 10hp. And...if you dare...you add a carbon fiber hood scoop...well...now you're looking at another solid 45hp!

TheDon 04-15-2008 12:11 AM

suriously

the front spoiler would allow for a nice FMIC set up

It would help your fuel economy and direct mopre air into the front of the engine where it helps keep your engine cool. Here in the desert, I'll bet one of these would help reduce engine temps! Damn, just talked myself into another part for my classic Benz!:D

How else are you going to clean the dirt off the tops of parking blocks and curbs when you go to the mall.:D

TheDon 04-15-2008 10:44 AM

thats why I back into most :)

man that would look sweet on m W123 when I get my vogtlands installed.. oooh and add some eyelids to the hood

Dee8go 04-15-2008 10:48 AM

That would look nice on Max. I think I have Euro bumpers already.

TheDon 04-15-2008 10:56 AM

do your bumpers stick out realllly far to the point where you can sit on them without an issue?

if not then they are euros

this is the kind of intercooler I would use(not this exact one but similar in style)

the end tanks on this one are pretty much what we're looking for if we have a 617

If you get a front spoiler you really wont see any major changes without a rear one as well.
