Made my own pressure bleeder by following the easy instructions here: - http://www.bmw-m.net/TechProc/bleeder.htm

Having used this home made device on both my Mercedes, I have to say that it makes the job of brake bleeding real fast and simple.

Cheers!

The only thing that can make a big German sedan better...is a V12.
I've driven the W12 A8L but it is an L as in Long-wheelbase. The S8 is the short-wheelbase, and lighter. I like the handling better and it has the same 450hp. The S63 is just undriveable in wet weather.

My one man bleeder:
I just take 2X8 of an appropriate length, use it to pump the pedal and then I wedge it from the pedal to the seat cushion. I then go back and forth pumping and bleeding. A little running around is necessary but what's wrong with a little exercise?
This is the cheapest self bleeder there is.

Had I opened my eyes a bit further, there was one about 5 feet from my front bumper the whole time. Off at 6pm and I'll bleed away..

Me and my friend were trying to restore his Pontiac's brakes. The fluid looked 30 years old. We tried bleeding the fluid out but nothing would come out of the bleeder. We pulled the bleeder out and it had just corroded shut. Old brake fluid is nasty stuff!

We have brakes !! Stops straight even with the original left caliper in place. I bled all 4 wheels and still a spongy pedal. Bled the master then all 4 wheels again and success. Hopefully Saturday morning with the compressor will go just as smoothly. Since I already removed it to do the oil cooler lines, I just have to flush the evap & condenser, install the new compressor, expansion valve & lines, then recharge. Fingers crossed.
